Official Announcement
Sprint to a Championship:
MTM Online Racing is pleased to announce changes to finish it's 2010 stock car season. The final 12 races of our season will switch to fixed setups using either the iRacing "fixed" setup, the iRacing "advanced" setup, or a member's setup that is chosen by an administrator. At the end of the final 12 races, MTMOR will crown not one, but 2 champions. On champion will be an overall season champion. The second will be the "Sprint to a Championship" champion.

MTMOR made the decision on the switch for a variety of reasons. With the variety of cars available in iRacing, and with the simple day to day grind of real world life, it allows members or new participants the ability to "jump in and race" without having to spend hours and hours on a setup. It also seems that most like the idea of a fixed setup with the idea of having a level playing field. Everybody has the same thing. Let the best driver win. Our main goal is to get back to having fun and enjoying racing.

2010-2011 Road Racing Series:
MTMOR is current in the early stages of planning the winter series. As in years past, MTMOR will run a fixed setup series using another car within iRacing. All races will be on road courses. We hope to have an official announcent on this series in either September or October. We are waiting to see what iRacing is going to release in the next 4-6 weeks in regards to tracks and vehicles. We will not run the Solstice again this year.

The "Sprint" begins this Thursday. We look forward to an exciting finish to our season

Car Skin deadline!!!!
Attention everybody!

I will be assembling the first paint pack for the 2010 Cup Series tonight (Saturday). If you have a car, suit, or helmet that you want in the league paint pack, it needs to be in my e-mail inbox by midnight tonight! If it is not here by midnight, it will not be in the paint pack. Our second paint back likely won't around for quite a while.

If you need my e-mail address, send me a PM.

Hill gets second win in a row

Nick Hill had nothing to worry about in Sunday Night's Winter Solstice race at Lowe's Motor Speedway. After points leader Matt Holden suffered technical issues for the second race in a row and Mark Wheeler misplaced his "talent" a few times, Nick cruised to a nearly 40-second win margin, giving him his 3rd win in four races, and second win in a row.

The Solstice Series heads north to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the penultimate race in the series.

Holden Turns Luck Around

After an abysmal start to the season by destroying his car at Atlanta, Matt Holden led every lap at Summit Point en route to his first win of the season.

Next week, the Winter Solstice series heads to Lime Rock Park. See forum for practice times.
